Leslie C. Kouba, 1917 - 1998, was one of the first wildlife
artists in Minnesota and the USA. He created many art works depicting
Canada geese, blue bills, mallards, northern bills, panfish, pheasants,
pigeons, pintails, pronghorns, quail, snow geese, etc. in their natural
habitat. Kouba painted them at many different times of the day and many
different locations around the state of Minnesota. In addition to the many
wildlife artworks done in oils, watercolors or pencil sketch, there were
many Americana scenes of daily life. Les Kouba was well loved and
respected for his art.
I, Arlen Axdahl, fell in love with Kouba's art and began to buy and later sell many, many of his artworks. In order to better share my love for his art work I put up this website. Here are the pages on Kouba you will find interesting and useful:
If you have an original art work of Kouba's, or one of his prints, that
you are interested in selling, I may be able to help you sell that piece.
I do rent ad space on the site and it could be just what would work for
you. Drop me an email to
